Prepared June 2000

The purpose of this document is to provide a course portfolio for my section of Gross Anatomy II (AP 705), comparative anatomy for veterinary students.  Also included is a brief and general statement about my teaching philosophies.  The Appendices contain: a CD with 2 PowerPoint presentations as well as original images I have created for this course; the daily quizzes I used for the course in 2000; summaries of the responses to the One-Minute Papers for 1999 and 2000; examples of student work on two the quizzes; the 2000 Final Exam with an item analysis; and numerical and written data from the Teacher Evaluation forms for 2000.  Other information about the course, and the PowerPoint presentations, are available at the course web site (accessible for CVM members through the intranet): http://www.vet.ksu.edu/intranet/classes/freshman/ap705/index.htm
